World War I (100 years)

Hey everyone.
Today is a very important day of the World History. Important...well, somehow...yes..very much.

Today we commemorate how the World War Started. It has been a 100 years, since the enlightenment of the First War which shook the whole world.

A century ago from today, June 28, 1914 the world witnessed shots which changed the history as we see today.

Gavrilo Princip, a Serb nationalist, a mere 19 year old boy, along with 5 other conspirators planned the assassination of the hier of the Austro-Hungarian empire, Archduke Franz Ferdinand.

Princip and his companions were not able to end the life of the Archduke on the first try as he sat in the open
Graft and Stift Car as he ended his visit to inaugurate a hospital on the request of the governor of Bosnia and Herzegovina. Though his companions were able to injure many of Archduke's followers using a grenade.

After the unexpected occurrence of the events, Ferdinand with his wife Sofia, stopped in front of a cafe, which turned out to be where Princip had stopped.

Princip seized this 2nd chance that he had just got and with two steps, assassinated the Archduke and shot his wife in the abdomen.

Being less than 20, he couldn't be sentenced to death by the law. But he didn't pass the age of 20, he died of tuberculosis, not knowing that he had started the World's first War.
