Whales

1) The sperm whale has the biggest brain in the world, It weighs about 8 kilograms that is over 5 times the size of a human brain. As far as scientists know, the sperm whale is NOT the cleverest animal.
2) In summer, the blue whale eats 4 tonnes of food in one day! That is about 4 million krill. In winter it eats hardly anything for many weeks as food is scarce.
3)The migration of the grey whale takes less than 6 weeks.It would take a strong swimmer 30 weeks to complete the same journey.
4) The long tusk-like of the Narwhal was once sold as the 'real horn' of the Unicorn.
5)The Blue whale is the world's biggest baby at 7 meters in length and 3 tonnes in weight. It drinks 350 litres of it's mother's milk everyday- enough to fill 4 bath tubs!
